Helipad Photoshoot

Yesterday was so much fun! We had our team photoshoot (formal and wacky) in the office conference room and even in the office building helipad! On our way to the helipad, we took the elevator up to the 24th floor, then, climbed up the stairs for 2 more floors, and finally we climbed the last narrow staircase going to the top. As soon as I had my foot set on the helipad, I just immediately sat down on the concrete floor! The strong winds got me so scared! It felt like the winds could make me roll-over to the edge of the building and I’ll just fall down straight to the ground since there is no fence!

Good thing, none of my crazy imagination happened. And in below photo, manong guard already provided a monoblock chair for me so I was no longer sitting on the floor. (See, I’m still holding into it, I know… it’s just me!!!)

Here, I am starting to get more comfortable being on the top of a building. (still sitting)

While on this shot, we’re all standing and preparing to do something…

And at last, here we are…jumping high and having the best time!

BIG thanks to Gio & Dindo for their efforts in taking these wonderful shots.

Playhouse Disney Magazine - First Issue

Last week after my check-up in Megaclinic for my bad cough, I passed by Watsons to buy the prescribed antihistamine when I saw this very first issue of the Playhouse Disney magazine. There were only 2 copies left so I immediately grabbed one. I knew it! Reese would instantly like it just seeing those characters on the cover. The mag contains lots of activities for preschools and it has a theme for the month which is food.

Now, all of us have our own favorite magazine: Top Gear for Gani, Real Living for me and Playhouse Disney for Reese. It will surely be fun to have something new to read, explore and share each month. Have a nice weekend everyone!

Update:  Got the February issue a couple of days ago and I would definitely grab one every month.  It is just so worth it!

The Holiday That Was

Just posting here the happenings during the December holidays...

Dec 13 - Mom's visit in the house. We had lunch & merienda and spent time going around every corner of the house!

Dec 20 - Jen & Verl, my lifetime friends since college also visited us and we spent the whole afternoon catching up with each others' stories. The kids enjoyed playing with each other too but I was not able to take a photo of them, all I have are just memories.

Dec 24 - Christmas Eve, I had Reese open her gifts at 7pm since she was sleepy then. But after that, she got excited and was able to keep herself awake half hour after midnight.

Dec 25 - For this year, we spent Christmas in MIL's house. It is a tradition for me and Gani to take turns in spending this day with either of our extended families as we cannot afford to lose half of our day travelling. Below is Reese with her cousin Kuya Edlan.

Dec 26 - Benedick, Maydee & Nash visited us too. It was so nice of them to find time to be with us during their short vacation in Pinas.

Dec 27-29 - Reese was confined in the hospital due to mild pneumonia and an unknown food allergy. She got some cute red rashes on her face as shown in the photos below. Nothing to worry about, she's well and back to her normal self.
